Q: Who makes all of the coin / wood jewellery listed in your online shop?
I (Thomas) make all of the coin rings, earrings, pendants listed in my online shop.
Q: Is the coin ring in the photo the actual ring I will receive?
Yes. You are buying the actual coin ring from the photo, not like one or similar. Unless of course you are purchasing a custom order to make your ring from a specific coin.
Q: Can you make a custom coin ring just for me?
Yes. Contact me with your details regarding coin, ring style, size and your contact information and I will email you my quote.
Q: Can I send you my coin?
Yes. Contact me first before you send me your coin. I need to know details regarding your coin, ring style, size and your contact information and I will email you my quote. Some coins will not work very well to make a ring out of them. I will be able to help/suggest if this will be the case with your coin.
Q: What is the best metal material to make a coin ring?
Silver (anything between 40% to 92% silver content) will work very well. Your ring will wear and look great. Same with copper. Copper coins make beautiful rings. Coins made of other alloy metals could make nice coin rings but check with me first and I will provide you with my opinion. I feel like I have to mention this here, gold coins are great but make sure you know the value of the coin first before you decide to make a coin ring out of the coin. Do your homework first!
Q: I know the coin I like you to use to make my coin ring for me but I don’t have this coin. Can you source this specific coin for me?
Yes. Contact me with details regarding your coin, ring style, size and your contact information and I will email you my quote. Some coins will not work very well to make a ring out of them. I will be able to help/suggest if this will be the case with your coin.
Q: What is my ring size?
I have no idea but I suggest you give me a correct size when you place your custom order or pick the correct size when you purchase a coin ring from my online shop. If you don't know your size go to RING SIZE page and refer to the chart (Australia or United states, Canada and Mexico ). You can always measure your ring size by visiting your local jeweler and ask him/her to size you in Australian or US size. Few very important things you should consider. Human finger size will change depending on weather conditions. In cold climate / season it will size smaller and in hot climate /season your finger size will be bigger. To give you an example my pointing finger varies in ring size by 2 sizes depending on a season. That is why you should buy 2 rings, one for cold season and one for warm season :o) Ok, just kidding but it is an option. I hope this makes sense.
Q: How long do I have to wait for my custom order?
From the moment you paid in full for your custom order (provided I already have the coin in hand) it will take me 2-3 days to make it and ship it to you. Shipping times are out of my control and depending on where you would like to have it shipped to, this will add to your total turn around time. Use your judgement , common sense and everything else that mother nature provided you with ... or just contact me.
Q: How much does is cost for shipping?
Any local or international order over $150 will be shipped free of charge with signature on delivery. Otherwise shipping charges are: Australia - $6.95, International - $15.95. This does not include insurance but signature on delivery. Basically this protect both of us from any "charge backs" via paypal. If you wish to purchase additional insurance you will have this option during your checkout.
Q: What is your return policy?
If you are not happy with your coin ring I will be very happy to refund your money minus shipping charges after I will receive your shipment back. Make sure you contact me first to discuss your unhappiness. Wrong size of your coin ring (provided by you) is not a reason to return your ring. However if you want it to be resized (read about ring sizes etc) contact me first. You will be responsible for all the shipping charges. I am a one man operation and I can't afford to pay for your mistakes so please lets get it right the first time to avoid any surprises.
