1945 Island Of Jersey Liberated copper coin ring with crisp details

Interesting coin ring made from this  mint 1945 1/12 shilling (= 1 penny) bronze coin from Island Of Jersey, commemorating the 1945 liberation of the territory from German occupation during WWII.
Depicts the triple lion arms of England (outside) and Queen Elizabeth II (inside). Natural finish with polished highlights. Size is between 10.5 and 10.75 in US. Just a tad bit bigger from 10.5 but smaller than 10.75 – to be precise.

This coin ring looks different than other copper rings I made from similar size copper coins.  Main reason is this crisp detail on the raised writing / design.  If you like it it is available (at the time of this post writing) at my etsy on line shop.

More simple copper and brass finger rings

I made few more copper and brass finger rings using some texturing hammers.  All of them are made the same way as my coin rings – no cut, just wrapped on my mandrel.  All the finishes are using fire , torch and …. no artificial patinas and any other chemicals.  I am not sure how long some of the finishes will last ?  Few copper and brass rings I made 4-5 months ago look exactly the same when I made them so they staying on nicely.  However I haven’t cleaned them with any polishing compounds etc.  I sold few and no complaints  so far … I sell them for $30 each and at some point I will add them to my etsy online shop.   Contact me and I can make you one to your spec (width, size and finish).
